VPN

A Virtual Private Network (VPN) can provide a high level of security but it generally involves installation and maintenance of software or hardware for clients connecting. It also requires configuration in the infrastructure allowing access to Jubilant to support client connections.

A large number of organisations are turning to encryption, Federated Identity with Multi-factor authentication and firewall filtering to safely publish Jubilant to the Internet.

However, the federated identity approach may not be endorsed by an organisation's security team, and then a VPN is a perfectly suitable choice.
